Official website includes songs, lyrics, discography, artwork and pictures. Majidian is an American contemporary band, formed in 1998 by singer-songwriter Bjoern Zedlick in Hamburg, Germany. Majidian records and performs with Zedlick on guitar, harmonica, ukulele, mandolin, bouzouki and balalaika, backed by a revolving camaraderie of musicians on drums, bass and keyboard. Majidian's music and lyrics incorporate a variety of social, philosophical, political as well as personal influences and defy existing pop music conventions by appealing to the counterculture and by embracing musical genres, both traditional and modern regardless of their mainstream gravity. Majidian releases their music independently and free of charge through Vousht Records.
Majidian performed an unplugged concert at a birthday party in Bielefeld on Sunday. Sorry for not giving an advance shout about it, but it was a private party anyway. Once these things get more frequent a link called “Tour” will be added. For now that’d be nothing but a presumption.
